Bogle & Chang Managing Partner, Nikiki T. Bogle Honored
as "40 Under 40 Business Leader 2011"
BOSTON – October 5, 2011: Bogle & Chang law firm is excited to
announce that Managing Partner, NIKIKI T. BOGLE, Esq. has been
honored as a “40 Under 40” Business Leader 2011 by the Boston
Business Journal! Leaders were elected from over 500 nominations of
the best, brightest and innovative business leaders who are under age
40 in Massachusetts.
Judges reviewed more than 500 nominations, considering professional
accomplishments and community involvement. According to the
selection committee, the 40 honorees are “business and civic leaders
who collectively represent the next wave of talent . . .” In announcing the
winners, Boston Business Journal Publisher Christopher McIntosh
remarked, "These are young executives who play important roles at
some of the most important and innovative companies and
organizations in the region."
The 2011 winners will be recognized at an evening reception for 400
persons, at the State Room on Oct. 6th sponsored by jetBlue.
Nikiki T. Bogle, Esq., is the Managing Partner of Bogle & Chang, LLC law
firm and serves as Chair of the Immigration, Criminal Defense and
Entertainment Law Practice Groups. Ms. Bogle is an experienced
litigator with extensive criminal trial experience, having conducted over
100 trials. Prior to Bogle & Chang, she was an Assistant District
Attorney in the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office in Boston,
Massachusetts. She served as a Point Prosecutor for Child Abuse,
Domestic Violence and Identity Fraud. Ms. Bogle was also an Assistant
Attorney General in the Office of Attorney General, Criminal Division, in
Wilmington, Delaware.
In addition, Ms. Bogle is Founder, President and CEO of the Caribbean
Education Foundation, Inc. (CEF), a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit
organization that enables poor children to have meaningful access to
quality education in Jamaica and the remaining Caribbean. CEF helps
students to attend high schools by awarding scholarships which pays
school fees, books, uniforms, transportation and lunch.
Ms. Bogle was recently honored in August 2011 with a New York State
Assembly Citation for her work in the Caribbean Education Foundation
to help poor children receive access to quality education in the
Caribbean. Ms. Bogle was also honored as a Super Lawyer Rising Star
2011 and 2010 in Immigration Law by New England Super Lawyers and
Boston Magazine.
Ms. Bogle is a member of several professional organizations, including
serving as President of the Massachusetts Black Lawyers Association
(MBLA) from 2007-2008.
Ms. Bogle earned her Juris Doctorate degree, Dean’s List from The
George Washington University Law School in Washington, DC. She was
awarded her Bachelor of Arts degree, Cum Laude, in both International
Affairs and Political Science from the Florida State University in
Tallahassee, Florida. She is a member of the elite academic honor
society, Phi Beta Kappa.
Ms. Bogle was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica. She attended
St. Hugh’s High School in Jamaica, before migrating to the United States.
She is a frequent speaker and panelist on Immigration and Criminal
Justice issues.
